Immigrants - You have a duty to America
My family has been a part of America since the 1600's and gave their blood, sweat and tears to make this country great.  Therefore, I know I have the right to speak on the foundations of America, the concepts of America, and the freedoms of America.  My ancestry has earned me the right to speak with authority and passion in regards to this country known as the United States of America.  I will hold no punches and believe every American has a responsibility to America, no matter your station in life or your wealth.

America was founded by immigrants.  They came from all walks of life and enriched this country with their sharing of traditions and cultures.  However, there were and are several truths that must be upheld and respected.

First, if you want to live in America; you must become a fully integrated American.  You must learn the language.  You must obey the laws.  You must work hard and contribute to society.  America does not owe you anything.  Every immigrant to America in the early years paid dearly to earn respect and freedom for their children.  It was never handed to them.  Nor was it expected to be handed to them.

Second, you must acknowledge the differences of culture and accept them.

Third, you must accept the fact that America is a Christian Nation.  America acknowledges all faiths and beliefs but its foundation is deeply rooted in Christianity.  You must not attempt to impose your religion, religious laws, or cultural mores on to the rest of the country.  If you come to this country; you must accept it as it stands and merge with its culture, mores and language.

Fourth, you need to earn your right to be a part of this country.  This country was built on the backs of early immigrant and it is rich from their blood, sweat and tears. You have big shoes to fill.

Most importantly, if you do not like what is America; stay in your home country and fight to change it.  Americans died to bring their descendants freedom, liberty and an opportunity for a better life.  They never promised it to the rest of the world.  You do not deserve America’s freedom.  You need to earn your place.  You need to contribute, build upon it, and embrace it.  Do not come to America unless you plan to change and adapt to America!
